PRODUCT REVIEW: TIPS TO HELP BED-WETTING KIDS WITH PROTECT-A-BED LINEN PROTECTORS

Image
Not long ago, I talked about why a good nights sleep is so import to your health (you can see it here in case you missed it), but it is equally important that your sleeping environment is healthy, so I also recently talked about how my husband and I protect ourselves, and our children from allergens while we sleep and having a healthier sleeping environment (which you can read about here ).  But today we’re talking about kids and bed wetting. Our big boy is getting out of nappies at night, but obviously has some accidents. And as a busy mum, there is just nothing worse than having to wash all his bedding every morning. Or even change it during the night. Frustrating for me, and not great for him to wake drenched either.  That’s why we’ve been loving the Protect-A-Bed Cotton Terry Linen Protectors. As well as using the mattress protector under the sheet, this  Linen Protector is layered on top of the sheet. It has convenient extra long sides that can be tucked in on each side of the be

My two little have taken from their dad, and sadly have very sensitive skin, so we cannot just anything to care for their skin, but using the right gentle products is essential. And seriously, ‘wot’s’ not to love! PRODUCT REVIEW: MEDIK8 ADVANCED NIGHT RESTORE, ADVANCED NIGHT EYE, LIQUID PEPTIDES, WHITE BALANCE BRIGHTENING SERUM AND MICELLAR MOUSSE

Image
Yes, I know it, I’ve said it many times before, but one of my fave brands is Medik8, for the pure reason that they products simply work on my ageing, pigmented, blemish prone skin. I also love that the brand is always on the forefront with technology, and constantly is bring out new and more advanced products. For the last few months, I’ve put a selection of their newest to the test.. Medik8 Micellar Mousse  Medik8 Advanced Night Restore  Medik8 Advanced Night Eye Medik8 Liquid Peptides Medik8 White Balance Brightening Serum  Let’s start with the Medik8 Micellar Mousse . Most brands have a micellar water in the range, and I admit that I love them. They are so effective at removing makeup, and whilst not always required, I do love splashing water in my face after taking my makeup off. This Medik8 product is a little different as it is actually not a micellar water, well, it comes in a liquid form, but once pumped out, it is a mousse consistency, which I actually really like. It also mea

PRODUCT REVIEW: GLOBE X SESAME STREET BOARD

Image
During the school holidays and summer break, keeping the kids busy and entertained can be a tricky thing. You, naturally, cannot take them out to theme parks every single day, and neither buy them new toys daily - so we have tried to keep them active with play in the garden, bike rides, and also teaching big boy how to use a skate board, thanks to the cool Globe x Sesame Street board. Although mr. almost 6 years old, has mastered a big-boy bike without training wheels, and scooter quite well, It was a little tricky at first to ride a skate board, but a challenge is always great, and armed with the right knee, shoulder and hand protection pads, he kept at it. And is now doing quite well.. (perhaps too well for this nervous mummy!) And of course it helps when the skate deck is as cool as this Sesame Street one. The board is made by Globe in collaboration with Sesame Street, which all kids love. Sesame Street is a nonprofit educational organisation, helping to provide better educational
