PRODUCT REVIEW: THE QUICK FLICK LIQUID EYELINER STAMPS - THE FOOLPROOF PERFECT WINGED EYELINER

Image
I am far from a makeup artist, and in spite of wearing makeup for over 3 decades (did I just give my age away here!?!), one thing I am yet to master, its a perfectly winged liner, and especially when I am in a hurry, which frankly, with two little kids, I am most mornings... Most mornings simply don’t even try, as I know being rushed, it’ll end bad - that was until The Quick Flick landed on my desk.. The Quick Flick has no doubt been dominating your feed on instagram too, and appears to be a big favourite amongst many beauty bloggers. In short, The Quick Flick is a stamp style liquid liner has made it both simple and quick to create the perfect winged liner. I have tried; The Quick Flick To The Point in Intense Black* The Quick Flick Petite 8mm in Intense Black*  The Quick Flick To The Point Intense Black liner  is a slim and long wing of 10mm. And with this pen, you can simply achieve a winged liner and in a matter seconds!! KIDS BOOK REVIEW: WHITEBEARD BY M.C.D ETHERIDGE

Image
My big almost 6 year old only started prep at school at the beginning of this year, and he is so loving learning to read, recognising words, and cannot stop spelling words he sees, anywhere he goes. And as a mum, I really love that. He has such an appetite for learning and he so cannot wait till he can read full books. We were sent the M.C.D Etheridge Whitebeard book * to read - and aimed at kids aged 8-12, he is naturally a tad little to be able to read it by himself, so for the past few weeks we’ve been reading it as bedtime story, and everyone have been enjoying it. The Whitebeard book has been written my M.C.D. Etheridge, who is a journalist and TV producer for SKY News, ITN, ITV, Channel 5, and Australia’s Channel 9, and it has been beautifully illustrated by Olivia Ong. Whitebeard is a fantasy novel about a world where where Santa Claus was a pirate, and where in reality, Saint Nicholas is not only the patron saint of children, but of thieves and sailors too. In the book you join

Australia always seem to be the last country to get new products and brands, and finally, just before Christmas 2018, the cult haircare brand Kristin Ess finally arrived on our shores, available in Priceline.  The premium, yet affordable products were launched into Target stores in the US in 2017, and in less than two weeks, every single product on shelves across 1,800 the stores was apparently sold out. PRODUCT REVIEW: OTTOMAN3 MATCHA FACE GEL - THE WORLDS FIRST SKIN CARE MADE WITH MATCHA POWDER

Image
I admit that I am such a coffee drinker, and while I do enjoy the occasional tea, especially during winter of if I have a cold, I am just not fond of Matcha. Just something about the flavour that I am just not sure about. But then this gorgeous tub of Matcha Face Gel from Ottoman3 landed on my desk.. I’ve always known Ottoman3 for their fantastic range of brow products, which I’ve previously talked about and you can read more about here - so it did come as a bit of a surprise that the brand now also has skincare. According to Ottoman3, this Matcha Face Gel is the world’s first skin care made with Matcha Powder!! PRODUCT REVIEW: SUPER GENTLE AND ALL NATURAL MILK AND CO BABY BATH WASH, MOISTURISER SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER,

Image
Both of our little boys have very fair and sensitive skin, so I am always very cautious of which skincare products I use on their skin. The younger one does have a little more eczema prone skin, so we’re sticking to using products we know works on his skin, but thankfully 5 year old big brother’s skin doesn’t have those issues, so we’ve been loving the Milk & Co Baby range for him lately..  The Milk & Co Baby Bath Wash * is an all-natural product containing among others organic Coconut Oil, Milk Proteins, Vanilla along with Chamomile and Calendula flower extract to keep your baby happy and clean. We also love that it is free from artificial fragrances and is paraben and soap soap free. It is great for using in their bath, but also equally perfect to use as a shower gel. It gently cleanses my boy’s skin without irritating or drying it out. Being soap free does mean that it doesn’t create that many bubbles in the bath (due to not containing soap), but personally I honestly don’t

PRODUCT REVIEW: TIPS TO HELP BED-WETTING KIDS WITH PROTECT-A-BED LINEN PROTECTORS

Image
Not long ago, I talked about why a good nights sleep is so import to your health (you can see it here in case you missed it), but it is equally important that your sleeping environment is healthy, so I also recently talked about how my husband and I protect ourselves, and our children from allergens while we sleep and having a healthier sleeping environment (which you can read about here ).  But today we’re talking about kids and bed wetting. Our big boy is getting out of nappies at night, but obviously has some accidents. And as a busy mum, there is just nothing worse than having to wash all his bedding every morning. Or even change it during the night. Frustrating for me, and not great for him to wake drenched either.  That’s why we’ve been loving the Protect-A-Bed Cotton Terry Linen Protectors. As well as using the mattress protector under the sheet, this  Linen Protector is layered on top of the sheet. It has convenient extra long sides that can be tucked in on each side of the be

SCHOOL HOLIDAY FUN - SMALLFOOT AT SEA LIFE MELBOURNE

Image
I have no doubt that I am not the only mummy who is struggling keeping my kids entertained during the school holidays. And especially this one, as it is a little longer than the other holidays throughout the year. Naturally, my kids are not used to being entertained, and going to fun places every single day of the week, but when you go from being hyper active all day in kindergarten (or school), with lots of fun things to do and play with and being distracted all the time, then simply being home with mummy day after day after day, I guess, I can understand that it can become a little boring.  Melbourne Big Ticket where you get entry to two attractions, Sea Life Melbourne and Legoland Discovery Centre at a great discounted price… But let’s first have a look at the attractions.. We visited Sea Life in Melbourne the other day, which during these school holidays calling all smallfoots to join our big chill these school holidays by experiencing life as a Yeti to celebrate the release of one
