The other day I talked about some great gift ideas for the kids, and today I’m continuing with some ideas for the kids, but with eco-friendly and educational toys, from small Australian businesses! All available from  Fairy Fun Toys .  I remember growing uo in Denmark and playing Mikado - or Pickup Sticks . - it was such a fun game. So I love watching my boys play this classic,game. You simply need to pick up the wooden sticks, one at a time, without disturbing any of the other sticks. It is a simple game, but great nonetheless, and it great for the kids to play on their own too. Perfect for concentration and motor skills too! Pickup Sticks - RRP: $7.99  Our little boy spent almost 5 months in hospital from he was just 6 weeks old - and to this day has regular checkups. We have never encouraged ‘doctor’ play - it is something he has done by himself - no doubt playing out some of all his experiences at the hospital, but using his teddies, or his big brother, at home, having so much fun.
