Australian beauty brands seem to have come such a long way in the last couple of years with more and more brands making a mark wit advanced formulas. And another newcomer is Curated Beauty, who make natural products in small quality controlled batches with no parabens, synthetic or artificial chemicals. I’ve put their launch product, the  Curated Beauty  Pink Clay Mask* to the test. The Curated Beauty Pink Clay Mask is infused with ingredients designed to heal, soothe, calm and purify the skin thanks to pink clay, white clay, coconut milk powder, aloe vera leaf juice powder, calendula flower extract, chamomile flower extract and lavender oil. The mask comes in a large tub in a powder formula. To use, you simply need to mix it up yourself, by putting a small amount into either your hand, or as I prefer, into a small mixing ball, as it simply avoids a lot of the mess (and wastage!), and then adding a small amount of water to form a paste. Unfortunately, I haven’t not been blessed with great skin. It has always been prone to breakouts and acne, and sadly it, and when they eventually clear up, sadly they often leave me with dark marks that take ages and ages to fade again, if they do! Lately I’ve put a few other products from Peter Thomas Roth to the test including the Glycolic Range (read about it here ), the Water Drench Hydrating Toner Mist (read more here ), and the Rose Stem Cell Range (Read more here ), and I’ve been exceptionally impressed with all, so I was very excited to be putting the Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C Targeted Spot Brightener* to the test too.  The Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C Targeted Spot Brightener is made using a concentration of 10% THD Ascorbate, an ultra-stable scientific breakthrough ingredient that is 50 X more powerful than traditional Vitamin C to help brighten the skin. In addition, it also has added Gwennis, an active algae extract, that helps reduce the look of dark spot size by up to 75%

One of those homegrown brands that I’ve only recently had a chance to try, is Frank Body, and I got to say that I have no idea why I didn’t try their products sooner, as they really are fabulous, as well as I love that they are made from all natural ingredients and of course cruelty free too. You guys probably know by now how much I love, or should I say, addicted to Vitamin products I am, when a bottle of the Medik8 Crystal Retinal 10* landed on my desk, I couldn’t wait to try. I have started from the ‘ground’ up, as you should with retinol, to get the skin used to it, and used all lower strengths of the Medik8 retinols, and let me say, they’re all incredible, regardless of the ‘level’ you’re at. So I have just come back home from a month away visiting my family in Denmark, and here's some of the things that were in my suitcase...
